Layek Academy — LMS Development

Layek Academy is a Bangladeshi online education platform focused on helping aspiring freelancers gain IT skills. They offer courses in Digital Marketing, Professional Graphic Design, and Facebook Marketing Mastery. The platform serves 500+ students with recorded classes, assignments, and online-verified certificates.

They needed a complete WordPress LMS that could handle course enrollment, payment processing, video delivery, assignment submissions, and certificate generation — all in Bangla for their target audience.

Building an LMS for the Bangladeshi market required specific solutions:

Bangla-First UX: The entire platform needed to work seamlessly in Bangla, from course descriptions to certificate generation.

Payment Integration: Bangladeshi payment gateways (bKash, Nagad) needed to be integrated alongside WooCommerce for course purchases.

Video Delivery: Recorded classes needed secure delivery to prevent piracy while maintaining good playback performance on varying internet speeds.

Certificate System: Students needed verifiable certificates with unique validation codes that employers could verify online.

Multi-Channel Support: Students expected support via Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and phone — all needed to be integrated into the platform.

I built the LMS using WordPress with a custom setup:

LMS Core: Set up WordPress with a robust LMS plugin for course management, lesson sequencing, quiz creation, and progress tracking. Configured enrollment flows with automatic access provisioning.

Payment & E-Commerce: Integrated WooCommerce for course purchases with Bangladeshi payment methods. Set up coupon codes and the "double discount" loyalty program for returning students.

Content Delivery: Configured secure video hosting for recorded classes with adaptive streaming. Built a course dashboard showing progress, completed lessons, and upcoming assignments.

Certificate System: Built an online certificate verification system where each certificate gets a unique code. Anyone can validate a certificate by entering the code on the website.

Design & UX: Created a clean, Bangla-optimized design with course cards, feature highlights, success preparation guides, and social media integration. Added Chaty for multi-channel support (Phone, Messenger, WhatsApp).

Layek Academy launched successfully:

Platform: 3 active courses (Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Facebook Mastery). 500+ enrolled students. 50+ recorded video classes. 5-star course ratings.

Features: Lifetime course access, practical assignments with trainer feedback, Facebook support group, online verified certificates, and double discount for returning students.

Engagement: Active social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn driving consistent enrollments.
